The Art of design is known to develop fluently from the core of self-expression.  UK artist; Nathan Samuel McDonald personifies this theory with his contoured sketches. “I never had any classes I just wanted to see what my art would be like on clothes” states the British Caribbean artist. Though Samuel is a native of the UK; he clarifies “that it didn't influence his designs; he believes that every artist /designer should draw what they love as it reflects what type of person they are”. Nathan’s sanguine plans for the future“to release Comics/Magna’s or become an animator.

design technique
:

I don’t really have any specialty I just draw what I like most, so I guess it’s enjoyable and comes from the heart.

artist stimulus
:

I don’t have a particular person who inspires me, if fact all artists inspire me because everyone has their own style and brings something new to the art world, its fun to see other people's work because it encourages me to experiment with different things.

style preference:

I don’t really think that I have a style as of now because I’m still growing and learning new things in fact I have a long way to go before I solidly develop a style that I’m comfortable with

ingenious ability:

Well I taught myself to play the drums which I currently play at church, I wouldn't say that it’s a really hidden talent, everyone that knows me knows that apart from art I’m very musical.

sketch tools:

I use sketchbook pro, Photoshop, painter, sai, pencil, paper, copic pens, prisma colours, mechanical pencis, but most of all is my imagination.
